RESULTS

Weather was rather wet to say the least for the 2nd round of the SMCC trials championship. Solos had 3 laps of 8 sections dropped down from 4 laps due to the weather, 20 riders finished from a start list of 27.

Josh Brain kept plugging on well ahead of the field after his main rival Nigel Crellin retired for the premier class, Sean Quaye had some nice rides on the new Ossa, which coped well with the muddy conditions finding grip where others failed to claim the second podium spot. Third place went to Chris Madigan.

The clubman class was won by Robbie Skillicorn, close run with just one mark between second place Ed Duggan. Third place went to Oliver Megson.

The Sportsman class win went to Peter Peniata with Mike Stevens in second.
A noteable ride from Adam Kelly gave him the best result on the sportsman route of the day, and also the schoolboy class win. Second place went to Brandon Bailey followed by Aaron Peniata for third.

The Club would like to thank all the observers who braved the weather.
