Northern Enduro Results
Northern Enduro Results from Ballaugh and Tholt y Will plantations.
Most of the Expert class had the rare enjoyment of not only beating David Knight but they even had opportunity to offer some friendly words of encouragement to him as he spent 30mins in Tholt y Will removing his rear wheel to untangle some barbed wire. This meant he posted the slowest time of the day on the test and put himself out of contention leaving the way open for Barry Kinley and Chris Madigan share a close battle for the honours with Barry Kinley finally coming out on top.
Clubmen was another tight contest with Kieron Jones and Mark Oates separted by only 9 secs after 6 tests
Sportsman field won by Nick Cannon is growing with each event and of the 35 riders that started 22 made it to the finish, no doubt the tricky route in Ballaugh exhausted many of the riders and machines with several riders not finishing Ballaugh or not attempting the 2nd lap. Hopefully this won’t put off any new riders as the next event is a Fun Enduro multilap on Easter Monday which promises to be a more enjoyable day out.
