Geoff Cannell rememberance service

Geoff Cannell will be remembered at a service of celebration and thanks on Sunday August the 17th 2008 at 2pm at the Grandstand.
Geoff was best known for his commentary work on the TT and was a former news editor and sports editor at Manx Radio commentating on all local sports especially motorbikes. He was also a very competitive trials rider, regular competing in these events, Before his sudden death last year Geoff’’s last trial was the Classic Two Day which he finished.Before Geoff took ill he was working on that weekend’s Trial des Nations for which he was press officier. Geoff was secretary of the Isle of Man Centre of the Auto Cycle Union for many years’ as well as serving on the Ramsey Motorcycle committee for many years. Geoff’s wife Lynda and daughter Zoe invite you all to the service and they say that you don’t have to dress up. |
