45 riders entered Sundays Southern MCC enduro to compete in the fourth round of centre enduro championship. The event was run on private land at Ballapsit farm in dry and warm conditions around a challenging course over a variety of terrain including long steep descents short technical climbs and rocky quarry tracks. The event was run as a Hare and Hound Enduro with riders completing as many laps as possible over durations of 3 hours for Expert and Clubman and 2 hours for Sportman.

Chris Madigan led from the mass start to soon be passed by David Knight, unfortunately for Knighter when leading the field round for lap 2 he was forced to make evasive action to avoid stray livestock on the private farmland forcing him to retiring from the event. Juan Knight took over the lead on the big KTM four stroke to pull out an impressive early lead over the rest the field that he maintained throughout the event to finish in first place with 28 laps ahead of second place Scott Brooker on 27 laps. Russell Millward with a very steady ride also completed 27 laps securing 3rd place ahead of 4th place finisher Chris Madigan. David made a full recovery from his 2nd lap incident and completed a few additional laps in typical impressive style. Barry Kinley was also forced to retire from the event whilst in 2nd place after loosing his rear brake finding slowing down off the steep descent impossible.

In the clubman class Rob Turner took the win by completing 24 laps 1 extra than second place finisher David Christian closely followed by Chuck Bregazzi and Darren Murphy all on 23 laps. The Sportman class was well support with 17 entries Nick Cannon finishing in 1st place followed by Rob Brew both completing 14 laps and Andrew McDonald taking 3rd place with 13 laps.

The Club would like to thank the landowners, Hogg ambulance, marshals, and James Crow for lap scoring.
